Very Quick Notes:

  1. There is a MD State Park Entry Fee of $3/person for residents, $5 for out of state. Please Bring Cash or your Maryland Parks Pass. Don't complain aboutthe entry fee, keep it in prespective - without these fees we wouldn't have the awesome MD State parks to have events like the the SCCX, Sugar Hill MTB Race, All of the different Fair Hill races, Patapsco CX, Tacchino CX, the Greenbrier MTB race, and all of the amazing places to MTB or CX in Maryland.

  2. Add $10 for Day of / Walk up registration. Does not apply to wait listed registrants.

  3. Minimum of 12 racers in each the Cat 1 Men's and Cat 1/2 Women's races for the full prize. Less than 12 riders split the total of the CAT 1 Men, or Cat 1/2 Women, entry fee pot respectively.

  4. We take Visa, AMEX, Master Card, Discover for all race day payments - but we have a 3% for use of a credit card to cover the transaction fees.

Sportif Cup Points are awarded to all categories listed above with the exception of Cat 1 men, Cat 4 Men & Cat 4 Women. Cat 4 Men & Women will receive points only for ranking and lineup purposes.

A $10 day-of fee will be charged for all same day entries

Registration: Opens at 7:30am and CLOSES for post registration 30 minutes before each race. Pre-registration # pick up is open until 15 minutes before each race

Licensing Requirements: USAC license required – one day licenses will be sold at race registration & only Cat 4 riders may race on a one-day license.

YOUR RACING AGE IS YOUR AGE AS OF DECEMBER 31st, 2013 (not 2012).

Day-before Pre-riding. We are going to set the course up on the moring of Friday, Oct 12th. Then set up all of the supporting structures like reg tent, etc. The course should be open for pre-riding by Noon on Friday afternoon. Come out and gain some advantage by pre-riding. But if you do, expect to be pressed into service for a little while...

Day of Pre Riding: The course will be open for warm-up at 8:00 and about 15 min. prior to each event if the racers from the previous race have finished. Gather at the Finish line and a Course marshal will let you know when the course is open. Riding on the course during an event is prohibited and may result in disqualification from participation in registered event with no refund, revocation of Call-Up position, or other time penalty for registered event.

Call Ups: All Call ups will be done based on the Sportif standings then then by order of registration. Call up riders must be pre registered. Cat 4 races line up by order of registration.

Registration Online: Registration is available online at www.bikereg.com. Online Registration at BikeReg incurs additional registration fees.

Onsite Late Registration: Late and onsite registration fee $10 EXECPT FOR JUNIOR RACERS or COLLEGIATE RACERS.
